Media Aplikom

Scope and Description

Media Aplikom is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing original research articles and critical literature reviews in the fields of Computer Science, Data Processing, and Informatics Engineering. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating high-quality scientific contributions that advance theoretical understanding and practical applications in computing and information technology. Media Aplikom is published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer (STIKOM) Yos Sudarso Purwokerto and is issued biannually, with regular publications in June and December. The journal was first launched in print format with Volume 1, Issue 1 in 2010. Since June 2019, all articles published in Media Aplikom have been made available online, enhancing accessibility and visibility for the global academic community.

The scope of Media Aplikom includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Computer Engineering (Sistem Komputer)
Research related to the design, development, and implementation of digital and computer-based hardware systems, including embedded systems, digital devices, computer architectures, hardware–software integration, communication hardware, and network-supporting devices.
Computer Science (Ilmu Komputer)
Studies covering computational theory, algorithms, data structures, mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, robotics, and other theoretical or applied aspects of computing science.
Information Systems (Sistem Informasi)
Research focusing on organizational information systems, business process integration, information management, decision support systems, strategic alignment between information systems and organizational objectives, and evaluation of information technology value.
Information Technology (Teknologi Informasi)
Topics related to IT governance, infrastructure management, technology planning, implementation and maintenance of IT resources, emerging technologies, and innovation-driven technological solutions.
Software Engineering (Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak)
Research on software development methodologies, software architecture, system and application software, software quality assurance, testing, maintenance, and integration with infrastructure and information systems.

Media Aplikom welcomes interdisciplinary research that integrates multiple computing domains and addresses contemporary challenges in technology and information systems.
